We just returned from spending the night at the Jackson Rancheria Hotel.
The rooms are huge!
The beds are comfortable enough for one night, but not my preference for much longer.
We are not gamblers but have heard raves about the seafood buffet and had to check it out.
For the price, I couldn't find anything to complain about.
I'm sure I've left out some type of seafood.
In addition to all that deliciousness, the typical buffet fare, prime rib, filet mignon, pizza, two kinds of pasta, fried chicken, an Asian station, a salad station, fresh fruit, etc.
Desserts - cookies, cakes, pies, soft serve ice cream with toppings, bread pudding with vanilla sauce, creme brûlée - especially yummy and a whole section of sugar free desserts.
I'm pretty finicky about food, but you need to keep in mind that it's buffet food and not cooked to order, it was very good.
We were impressed by how friendly and accommodating all of the employees were.
From housekeeping staff at the hotel, to wait staff, to casino employees, without exception they were all great.
While chatting with the front desk person at check out, we mentioned the staff.
We were told that the e,polyester get benefits and free child care.
I love a company that invests in their employees.
As others mentioned, the smoke is definitely apparent as you enter the casino, but this place has many other positive things to encourage me to make a return visit.
We even won a few bucks.
UPDATE: that cute server's name was Alex ; Currently writing this on a full stomach from the buffet inside the casino.
Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the food and it was good and plenty but what really threw me off was the smell of smoke within the entire casino.
Obviously wasn't expecting this to smell like the Caesar's Palace in Vegas but the scent really threw me off and almost spoiled my appetite.
The variety of food is okay, but compared to the buffet at The Luxor in Vegas it does not compare at all lol.
But nonetheless, the food was great as I said earlier; I also encountered a very handsome long dark haired waiter with glasses and he gave me compliments as we paid before coming in and I was extremely flattered and blushing and it honestly made my day lol I wish I remembered his name Took my 92 year old mother to her favorite past time - playing adult video games of chance!
She hadn't been here in ages, why?
She's is allergic to seafood - thus not interested in their seafood buffet, and there are closer casino options less than 2 hours from the Bay Area.
Smoky, smoky smoky along with inadequate ventilationthey do have a smoke-free section, although you have to walk through the Smokey areas to get there Long lines, long lines, long lines, everywhere, buffet, players club desk, free drink line, cafe.
Renew players card in long line every year - whyyyyy?
Can't understand why you would make people wait in line every year to obtain a new players card, just update your programming, fork out some capital for new software.
Only three workers at the players club on weekends?
I have been visiting this casino since opening week and I have seen it undergo multiple style changes.
It is a good solid casino with an okay rewards program called Dreamcather's Club.
The layout of Jackson Rancheria is nice, there is ample roomspacious seating and plenty of drink stations which is extremely important.
This casino was well planned and has done well with renovations, they have kept up with the times and have left plenty of room for expansion.
I look forward to seeing this place continue to evolve with the times.
Service for drinks can take forever.
Matter in fact, it took an hour and 15 minutes for the waitress to ask if we wanted drinks.
I was at the blackjack table and the guy next to me kept requesting an ice mocha, even asked the dealer to let the floor supervisor know.
Supervisor didn't care or acknowledge and got irritated.
Eventually the service gal came; but it was too late.
Yep, and hour and 15 minutes late.
This happens often if you want service for drinks.
I've been here more than a handful of times and it's always horrible service s.
Other casinos are super consistent with their fast and attentive services.
That's why I prefer them more than this place.
Also, they don't give much "favors" or promotions to lure customers to come back.
Where are the free gifts?
If they want to attract the younger crowd.
Or even add some live music!
Their "alcohol bar" closes early and is located upstairs by the restaurant.
This is the ONLY area that allows alcoholic consumption and sales.
The lobster they have available for their buffet is limited.
They tend to run out often so be prepared for early buffet closure.
Just because they say the buffet area is open until a certain time.
The time varies on when they run out of lobster.
The song "Jackson" by Johnny and June was in my head the whole time I was in this casino, so that is a plus for me.
We stopped off here a couple times during our Amador weekend.
The first time we came to check out the nightlife and made our way up the elevator to the restaurant and bar.
I got a tequila and coke and Anthony got Bombay on the rocks.
We took our drinks outside where the owner of the casino himself was strumming guitar and serenading the crowd.
You have to try to make this show!
We ate here three times, once at a catered event and twice in the little to go place downstairs.
Food was cheap and easy which is great when you have been drinking wine all day and start to get hungry around 10pm after last call upstairs.
The real good food came from the catered event we attended here.
Crab Louie salad, custom cocktails, build your own popcorn bar, cheese and meat tray, grilled cheese sticks, and tomato basil skewers.
Playing card cookies were in baskets at the door- so cute!
I really cant wait to come back here and go up to the restaurant to try more of the chef's creative and colorful menu.
This is a dry casino meaning no alcohol on the floor.
But they do have their reasons, as the tribe has had issues with drinking in their past.
They have a wonderful coffee and soda bar that is complimentary for guests.
I played a couple slots with my honey and we had fun people watching as well.
Perfect casino for a sober person who loves to play casino games.
I prefer a drink while wasting my change in the slots.
But I still enjoyed myself with my free decaf coffee!
Not the best casino that I've ever been to, but hey.
I'm not much of a gambler anyways.
If you're not a smoker, be prepared to be hit in the face with the strongest smell of cigarette smoke.
They do have non-smoking areas which are super smallbut the main area is all smoking and you'll have to pass through this area to get to the other side.
It's not the largest, but they do have an adequate cannery casino jackson rancheria of card tables and slot machines.
Two of my friends gambled; one was on the Black Jack table and the other hit the slots.
No luck on the slots, but after initially breaking even on the Black Jack table, my friend finally ended the night with a win.
As far as dining options go, you're limited to four main restaurants.
Good luck getting to the buffet.
When I saw that line, I instantly turned my ass around and headed for the grill.
Some people who were at the event with me reported that it took them 2 hours to finally eat after waiting in line.
I could understand if it was Baccanal in Vegas or something.
But for this little casino, I wouldn't press my luck.
If you have two hours to wait, then do it.
Otherwise, just go to the grill.
I didn't try Lone Wolf since it closes pretty early even on Saturdays I think like at 9 or 10.
However, my friends said that it wasn't anything special.
We hit up the grill and it was just okay, but it did read more job in the end.
I didn't stay here overnight, so I'm not sure about the rooms.
What I will say is that their catering department is marvelous as is their conference room, patio, and ballroom.
The food was DELICIOUS and the ballroom casinos oxygen pumping nicely set.
I wouldn't mind booking a function here since their catering department is exquisite.
In conclusion, it's a solid venue when used for private events but the casino itself ranked average at best in my opinion.
Had a nice experience at this resort despite never gambling one penny at this venue.
Was here for an event and took the short one hour drive from Sacramento.
Parking was easy with secured covered parking.
One note is that for some reason the hotel is not directly attached to the casino and you have article source exit the casino and go up the elevators to the third floor and down a short walkway to get to the resort hotel.
Not a deal breaker in any way, but a little odd.
Staff was super friendly at the resort, and the check in was easy and friendly.
Room was good, not luxury, but simple and a very spacious room.
We did the seafood buffet on Friday, and got in easy right away.
Some have said that the wait was hours long for the seafood buffet on the weekend.
After trying it, I would honestly say I would not wait for more than 20 min to eat at that buffet.
Most go for the lobster and crab legs.
I would give the thumbs up to the crab legs, but the lobster tail in my experience was over cooked and sub par.
Other items were great, but let's be honest, the main draw is the seafood.
Againservers were on point and very friendly and efficient.
All in all, a nice casino, with an nice hotel and very friendly staff.
Used the valet for parking and cruised into the casino, before realizing the ball room was not inside.
Instead, we had to retract our foot steps and venture outdoors towards the parking area.
At last we found it.
After our event, we re-visited the casino and gambled a lil bit.
Then we went up stairs and had a couple drinks each.
We took our 2nd drink out to the patio area in which live music was being played.
It was the CEO Rich Hoffman entertaining us.
After his performance, we met him and took a few pics.
He explained that he always closed out the summer session with his performance.
He was a good entertainer and had a good musical talent.
I would surely head back again, next summer close out to hear him play.
We did not stay in this hotel for this weekends events, but may try them one day.
We ate at one of the casino restaurant Had a burger and some wings.
One of the hotel options during YGCG.
That's what I love about Yelp.
I have been to the area 3-4 times previously and never knew this hotel casino was in the area.
Thank heaven for Mapquest.
It is well nestled in the trees and foothills.
I made my reservations on the phone about 5 weeks prior to the event.
It took less than five minutes.
Check in did take longer than it should have.
The person typed my last name in wrong and the wrong date, but everything read more correct in my email.
So Desiree and Pat worked everything out and set me up in a great king room on the third floor.
Room size and furnishings where great.
Bathroom had plenty of room.
Towels and sheets were all clean and fluffy.
A large flat screen tv on the wall at the foot of the bed.
Hotel has a nice coffee bar just off the lobby.
Light breakfast items are also available for purchase.
If you want more than that, walk across the cannery casino jackson rancheria to the casino and there's a 24 hour cafe.
The casino also has a buffet, steakhouse and two fast food restaurants.
The hotel swimming pool was nice sized.
Two go here people jacuzzis are next to the pool.
Staff said the pool was heated, but for September it was still a bit chilly for me.
A huge parking structure is available for both hotel and casino visitors.
I did enjoy my stay there.
When I return for future wine hunts and exploring the area I will stay here.
It was more convenient than I thought it would be for the area.
We really enjoyed our visit here last night.
There is lots of parking which is good.
The ladies working at the desk where you get your membership card were really nice.
All the staff was really welcoming There are lots of machines to play which we enjoyed.
There are plenty of places to to dine.
Overall, a fun experience and a great night!
I rode on over from Modesto on Thursday and was only expecting look around and lose a little money.
I was quite surprised to win a Major Jackpot on the Crazy Money machine.
The service was good from the minute I got in line to get a register and get a card, the servers, the service calls regarding machine problems, I have no complaints.
I hope in the near future that will be changed.
Sometimes I come alone and I feel like it's a safety issue for me.
I'm looking forward to coming back and maybe this time I can sit down and have a meal.
Hands down no other buffet is better than Jackson.
It is the best buffet in town or even Harveys or any buffet in Las Vegas.
They have sooooo much seafood and sooo much more food.
I come here 2 or 3 times a months wt my family and friends.
Definitely its da place to go!!!
You wont be disappointed.
Our excitement about Jackson Rancheria was short lived.
Initially we did pretty well on the slots, we didn't get rich but at least the payback was enough to keep us playing for a few hours, but since the first of the year it's been a different story.
Slots are as tight as they are in Thunder Valley and that's tight.
How do I know?
Because I lived in Reno for 14 years and I can tell when slots are seriously rigged in the house favor.
In Nevada casinos have to report their payout percentages.
They also have to take a machine offline for a few hours to change the payout.
In California Indian Casinos have no reporting requirements and can change pay tables as often as they want.
If I'm going to lose my money I will gamble closer to home or drive two hours to Reno where I know I at least have some chance thank burlington casino iowa the breaking even if not winning It takes a lot for me to give a one star review.
While the grounds and amenities are lovely, here is my lasting impression of the resort.
I stayed there two nights- Friday night and Saturday night with a checkout on Sunday.
I really wanted to sleep in so I put the 'do no disturb' sign outside the door.
At exactly, 10:30, housekeeping was banging on the door.
I told her the room wasn't empty yet.
At this point, the checkout time was strictly enforced - 11am.
Housekeeping told us we had to call the front desk for an authorization.
So, my partner in crime called the front desk while we're both hustling to get out.
If we weren't out of the room at 11:30, we would be charged a full day.
Ok, I understand we were running late and technically not out of the room at 11am but housekeeping banged on the door TWICE before their actual checkout time WITH the 'do not disturb' sign on.
How is this relaxing?
My partner in crime and I were at the front desk at 11:30am.
I relayed the whole situation to the front desk- housekeeping was aggressive!
Every yelper I spoke to who stayed here for YGCG experienced the same thing- housekeepers who banged on the door, letting themselves in even with people in the room, and threats of late charges or full day charges.
Doubtful I would return.
Absolutely the worst customer service!
It was 30 mins before we got our Chinese food at pacific grill!
Slots paid nothing after more than two hours playing!!
No wonder you never hear anyone winning any jackpots here!!
Waited in a long line at the junction just to tell me I have to go upstairs to get a freakin alcoholic drink!
Save your time and money!
We had a comfortable stay here on our "Gold Country Getaway.
We were a bit confused as we pulled up to the valet and we mistakenly pulled in to the casino valet area.
Check in was a breeze and we were appointed to the third floor.
Our room was adequate.
It's not as updated as other casinos but it was cozy and the room was spacious.
There was a refrigerator, which you would typically have to ask for.
What was even better was that we had a balcony overlooking the front of the casino!
We had a great nites rest and happy we chose to spend a nite here.
We had a bit of a mishap when we had asked for a late checkout.
Their checkout is normally at eleven and when we asked for a late check out, they told me they could extend it til 11:30.
Well, we were trying to get a bite to eat at Cannery casino jackson rancheria, we ended up leaving Margaret's because it took over forty minutes and our food still had not arrived.
By that time, it was 11:15, and we rushed back click at this page so we could check out without being penalized.
When we got to our room, our key didn't work.
We had to hunt down one of the maids, another maid in the background was rambling and carrying on about how we can't get back in our room.
Rest assured, the first maid was calm and she asked to see my ID, called front desk and got us back into our room so we could check out.
It was a bit of an ordeal, not very comforting with a maid complaining about the protocol!
We ignored her and the first maid helped us through.
My rating would've been less if it wasn't for the first maid!
Super sweet lady, wish we got her name!
Overall, it was a great place to stay and we'll come back again!
The room was great and the casino area wasn't as smoky as others we've been to!
The smoke smell is so overwhelming.
In a machine and split.
It's been almost a year since we've came back to this casino!
Unfortunately, it will be our last.
We are usually here for their Fisherman's Wharf Buffet.
Not a lot has changed.
Lines are still long for this buffet.
You still need to get in line to get a ticket for a time slot to eat, then you get in another line to pay, then one more line to get seated.
It's a very long process, and depending on what time you show up, you will be waiting for a LONG while to eat.
This time around, we were disappointed!
We came here to celebrate my Mom's birthday.
The main reason we took the hour long drive to get here was for their whole main lobsters!
The lobsters we had last Saturday night was awful!
They were so dry and way over cooked!!!
We kept waiting for new batches to come in, but each time they replenished their lobsters, they were still overcooked and very chewy!
Who wants to eat rubbery lobsters?!
We had a better experience last time when we were here.
Lucky, there were a few more seafood options for us to eat that night.
They had King crab legs and snow crab, those were good, not the best, but good enough to satisfy our seafood cravings.
Everything else was sub par, your typical buffet items.
The salad bar needed attending too, it was a hot mess, items all over the place, not kept cleaned!
We will now have to consider another place to get our lobster cravings, the drive over here and the ridiculous long lines is just not worth it anymore.
I rather go to the market and get a fresh lobster, cook it myself, and save on gas money!!!
Shoutout to my sis in-law for showing my wife and I a great time and escape from reality here.
Awesome atmosphere out front with the eagle over the fountain.
They have a vast selection of slot machines.
Poker tables looked booked and exciting to watch.
For sure next time I'll be in it to win it!
They have a good amount of black jack tables.
After all that gambling there's the highlight of it all.
The prime rib there is heavenly, like Gordon Ramsey himself made it!
Great selection of food to choose from.
Oh and I can't forget about the endless lobsters!!
You can't go wrong here if you got the urge to gamble and a big appetite to fill.
We do serve lobsters on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays with our Fisherman's Wharf Buffet.

It is true that we require our… Scott, thank you for visiting Jackson Rancheria Casino Resort.
It is true that we require our players to update their players cards every January and July.
This is our evaluation period to see what tier level each player falls under, whether its Classic, Premier, VIP, or Elite.
We want all of our players to have their correct card tier so they can take advantage of all the special things we have to offer at their tier level.
Visiting the Dreamcatcher's Club® also give us the opportunity to update any information in your account such as an address or name change.
Our Dreamcatcher's Club® reps work hard to keep the line moving quickly without downgrading their quality of customer service, so although the line may look long, you should be able to move through it fairly quickly.

I am unsure why the wait was so long, but I will forward this review to the beverage management.
You are correct that the buffet will sell out early on occasion, but it is not due to the lack of food, it has to do with the occupancy regulations in the buffet.
We are only able to fit so many guests in at one time, so with our time slot program we are able to reserve those time slots in advance the day of.
Once all time slots are handed out, we announce ourselves as sold out.

I'm not much of a gambler anyways.
If you're not a smoker, be prepared to be hit in the face with the strongest smell of cigarette smoke.
They do have non-smoking areas which are super smallbut the main area is all smoking and you'll have to pass through this area to get cannery casino jackson rancheria the other side.
It's not the largest, but they do have an adequate amount of card tables and slot machines.
We hit up the grill and it was just okay, but it did the job in the end.
I didn't stay here overnight, so I'm not sure about the rooms.
What I will say is that hampton beach casino images catering department is marvelous as is their conference room, patio, and ballroom.
The food was DELICIOUS and the ballroom was nicely set.
I wouldn't mind booking a function here since their catering department is exquisite.
In conclusion, it's a solid venue when used for private events but the casino itself ranked average at best in my opinion.

Was here for an event and took the short one hour drive from Sacramento.
Parking was easy with secured covered parking.
One note is that for some reason the hotel is not directly attached to the casino and you have to exit the casino and go up the elevators to the third floor and down a short walkway to get to the resort hotel.

We ate at one of the casino restaurant Had a cannery casino jackson rancheria and some wings.

Glad you enjoyed your visit, I'll make sure to pass along your compliment… Thank you for coming by!
The person typed my last name in wrong https://znamya-sum.ru/casino/bobo-casino-great-falls-mt.html the wrong date, but everything was correct in my email.
If you want more than that, walk across the driveway to the casino and there's a 24 hour cafe.
The casino also has a buffet, steakhouse and two fast food restaurants.
The hotel swimming pool was nice sized.
Two 6 people jacuzzis are next to the pool.

All the staff was really welcoming There are lots of machines to play which we enjoyed.
There are plenty of places to to dine.

Initially we did pretty well on the slots, we didn't get rich but at least the payback was enough to keep us playing for a few hours, but since the first of the year it's been a different story.
Slots are as tight as they are in Thunder Valley and that's tight.
How do I know?
Because I lived in Reno for 14 years and I can tell when slots are seriously rigged in valuable carousel casino application apologise house favor.
In Nevada casinos have to report their payout percentages.
They also have to take a machine offline for a few hours to change the payout.
In California Indian Casinos have no reporting requirements and can change pay tables as often as they want.
If I'm going to lose my money I will gamble closer to home or drive two hours to Reno where I know I at least have some chance of breaking even if not winning Heads up: From now on, other Yelpers will be able to see how you voted.

We… We went for a ride through gold country and ended up spending a few hours at Jackson Rancheria.
The slots in Jackson Rancheria were definitely looser than TV or Redhawk.
We didn't eat there, it was a seafood buffet and cost way more than their regular buffet but it looked nice and we'll probably try it if we go back on a weekday Heads up: From now on, other Yelpers will be able to see how you voted.

We hope you give… Hi Lynne, we are sorry to hear you did not have much luck during your last trip!
We hope you give our casino another try!

You are correct,… A message from the Director of Hotel Operations: Bonnie, thank you for your review.
You are correct, a Do Not Disturb sign means exactly that.
We truly apologize that you were disturbed prior to 11:00 am as this should not have happened.
This information is helpful to our management team, who will use this as a teaching tool.
In regards to the policy, the hotel does offer the option to add a late check-out for those that would like extra time in the room.
A small fee is applied to any time after 11:30 if granted.
It is procedure to verify empty rooms starting at 10:00 am unless there is a DND sign as some guests do not check out with the front desk agent.
This also allows us to turn rooms over in a timely manner.
With that being said there should always be room for flexibility.
Please do not hesitate to ask for a Supervisor or Manager as they can make decisions that the Guest Service Agent typically cannot.

We were a bit confused as we pulled up to the valet and we mistakenly pulled in to the casino valet area.
Check in was a breeze and we were appointed to the third floor.
Our room was adequate.
It's not as updated as other casinos but it was cozy and the room was spacious.
There was concord bregenz refrigerator, which you would typically have to ask for.
Well, we were trying to get a bite to eat at Margaret's, we ended up leaving Margaret's because it took over forty minutes and our food still had not arrived.
By that time, it was 11:15, and we rushed back upstairs so we could check out without being penalized.

Thank you for visiting Jackson Rancheria Casino Resort, we hope that you choose to give our buffet another try!
